12 mo bound in sixes. xvi, 92 pp. Frontispiece engraving of Lord Chesterfield based on original painted portrait. Book Condition: Very Good. Early printed paper-covered boards with black titles, and Bumpus' catalogue to lower board. Boards lightly soiled with minor damp staining to lower edge; spine rubbed with minor loss at tail and small split at mid upper joint. Scattered light foxing and toning; ownership inscription in ink to front pastedown dated 1872 and soiling to rfep. An excellent example of a pocket-sized edition of the classic work on etiquette.
