Scattered foxing to page fore-edges. Internally, a fair amount of foxing throughout but text not obscured; a small amount of faint annotation; otherwise, a good, readable copy. Used - Good. Begins: 'My dear Dr. Sharpey / I have nearly completed the abstract - I intend to dine at the Club & be present at the meeting to day & I shall ask you when you require the abstract?' He explains that he is 'presiding in the nisi prius C[our]t.', and that he would like to have 'the leisure of a Sunday to finish it'. He concludes: 'It is worth taking some pains about'.
