About the Author

David Lima, M.S.W. has been successfully treating relationship problems for over 33 years since completing his graduate work at Florida State University. Not long after beginning his counseling career he noticed a simple, but important fact - when relationship expectations were met, satisfaction levels increased. That's when he developed LoveWork (and wrote The Love Workbook for his clients' use). Recently he revised the book for couples who were not in counseling. David Lima is an Associate Fellow of the Albert Ellis Institute, New York and annually sponsors over 50 continuing education workshops for mental health professionals.
