8vo. 5.75 x 8.5 inches. x + 315 pp. Bound in original half maroon morocco over maroon cloth, gilt. A very good clean copy. Illustrated by 12 plates and by text figures. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A practical textbook of microscopy first published in 1893. As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields.
