8vo. 5.75 x 8.75 inches. xii + 209 pp. Separate title pages with Frankfurt 1628 imprint for English and Latin texts. All title pages in red and black. Bound in original navy, gilt, with gilt block, in price clipped pictorial dust wrapper, which has a few edge chips; otherwise a very good copy. Stamped name and date on first free endpaper and stamped no. at head of title. Illustrated by portrait frontispiece. Decorated with title page and head and tailpiece vignettes. Second impression. The English translation, by Kenneth J, Franklin (1892-1966) is followed by the full Latin text and prefixed by a scholarly introduction.
