5-9/16" x 8-13/16", (viii) + 307pp. Printed on off white alkaline paper and bound in sewn signatures in blue cloth boards with pale blue end papers. Light edge, corner wear to boards. Some shelf wear, light soiling, minor edge wear to jacket, which is somewhat faded at spine though not affecting legibility of title block. Previous owner's name in ink on front free end paper has been crossed out, also in ink. Binding is square and tight. Small moisture stain on top edge of book block, which is otherwise a bit dust soiled. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked.

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, the People's Co-op offers a selection of 20,000 new and used books at its brick and mortar location, with a selection of specialized and uncommon books listed on our Abebooks account.
