Rare original 1856 copy of "Mechanics for the Millwright, Machinist, Engineer, Civil Engineer, Architect and Student." The book is overall in good- condition with signs of wear and age. The covers have some soiling & wear. The binding is good and sound. The interior is lightly toned from age with some foxing & staining. There is a period name inscription to the front fep. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some other kind of minor imperfection such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, minor marking, etc. The book measures approximately 7 1/2 inches by 4 3/4 inches and is 420 pages long.
