Hi, I'm Kara and I wrote Men Made Easy.
A friend recently said I should tell my own story because it's the best example of how powerful my secrets about men really are. I was married for 29 years. Very traditional, he was the boss, I hinted and made him guess what I wanted, I was a career-oriented housewife, he did practically nothing around the house, focused on work and didn't participate much in our children's lives. There wasn't any romance and the love was more like close roommates. We were good friends and enjoyed each other's company. We were conformable but there was never any passion. I ached for it and often silently cried myself to sleep.
Then my husband did some things that caused me to no longer respect or trust him. So, after 29 years of marriage, I filed for divorce. It was fun being single but after a few years, I knew I wanted to marry again. I had been teaching women’s seminars and sharing what I had been learning about men with them. Then I decided to put my insights about men into book form. When I was ready to find my prince, of course I used the secrets in my book. Because I'd learned how men think, how they see the world, what they're afraid of, what they want out of life, what motivates them and most important, what makes them fall in love, I was able to attract a man who is passionate, fun, and intelligent, a man I can admire and respect and a man who makes me feel loved like I'd always wanted.
Of course he knows my secrets. He knows I used them to win his heart. But he knows that the most important part of my book is that the woman should be happy. Happy is when she's most attractive, happy is when she's open to love, and happy is a woman who knows how to ask for what she wants in a way that causes the man to jump at the opportunity to please her, like my Carly Boy. He even uses my book to tease me. In my book I talk about how the difference in the way men and women talk is the source of many problems. Men talk to communicate while women talk to connect. Carl will say, "Now, my dear, are you trying to communicate with me or connect?"
He's proud of what I've accomplished and supports me in the fulfillment of my dreams, which happen to be pretty big. I feel totally blessed.
