The results of this research are being published in a series of regional parts, each with map and illustrations, which will ultimately cover the whole of the county. These parts, of which this is the thirteenth, vary in length but are similar in style and layout so that the complete work, estimated to extend to some 1,000 pages, can be shelved as a uniform series, or can be bound into a combined volume. This work will be a major contribution to the published records of Cornish mining history and will be of importance also in wider fields - in the general history of Cornwall and in the history of metalliferous mining in Great Britain.
