Quite a robust copy of this review of Iran as a country, with chapter headings such as 'The classical age' and 'Iran under the shadow of the west', 'Economic foundations' and 'Iran's place in the world'. Robust but overall assessed as in 'poor' condition as bumping to covers and spine with some sunning, discolouration and damage to the edges, especially the spine; a previous owner has applied his rubber-stamped name copiously on end papers and even at the lower edge of the text block; foxing spots to end papers and some foxing generally to pages near the end papers; an inclination to light foxing throughout; a few marks internally. The jacket exists but it is incomplete due to major losses near to spine and generally chipped, torn, faded and marked.
