Oblong quarto 22x28 cms. bound in recent cloth with the original damaged label on the upper board. 18 SUPERB HAND COLOURED AQUATINT ENGRAVED PLATES - fine period hand colouring particular to Italian works, with thick wash blue skies, finely painted figures and gold hand coloured borders. Image size 14x19 cms, plate mark size 18x25 cms. Possibly of 20 plates as the vendor can fine no record of the book on ABPC but there is an online reference to a copy at Gonnelli Auctions with 20 plates. 2 plates with very mild marginal oxidisation and the last two plates with a spot in the centre. Plates by G. Carocci.
