27 volumes octavo 8 1/2 x 5 3/4 inches. Complete. Handsomely leather bound in half period morocco, spines gilt in compartments with small green onlays, leather corners and unusual gold cloth boards, top edges gilt. Illustrated with frontispieces and plates to the letters and life. In very good condition. A lovely leather bound set of Stevenson- a Scottish novelist, essayist, poet and travel writer. He is best known for works such as Treasure Island, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Kidnapped and A Child's Garden of Verses.
