About this Item
A diary and notebook begun 1761 with entries to 1789. Could be the accounts 0f Henry Blackbourne (certainly started out as his book), Threekingham, West Lindsey, Lincolnshire, except that he is mentioned a as third party. Many records of purchases of lambs and ewes - "Fat sheep" "20 light ewes" "One wagon load of stones." Field names mentioned repeatedly are Burton Yard, Laughton Plot, Goss Close, Long Close, Great Close. Leather covering the boards is wearing away and has some holes. Small loss to top of last few pages due to damp or mouse? Binding holding. Seller Inventory # 16676
