Contemporary binding of half calf, marbled sides, the spine withj gilt bands, attractive contemporary red lettering piece, head of spine slightly worn, sl cracking top of joints but the boards are well attached. There is some light scattered spotting but most leaves are clean and overall this is a VG copy. A previous owner has noted that this came from the library of the Duke of Devonshire (to whom the bok is dedicated), at Holker Hall, Lancashire.
