Original vintage avant garde advertising poster for the Lexicon Hispano Olivetti 80 typewriter model featuring a great mid-century graphic design depicting a colourful bird flying above a photograph of a new Olivetti typewriter with the stylised title text below and on the side. The Italian company Olivetti (founded 1908) produced type-writers, calculators and computers; the company employed the best commercial artists and graphic designers to create posters for their marketing campaigns. Artwork by the Italian artist and industrial designer Marcello Nizzoli (1887-1969) known for his advertising work with Campari and Olivetti (for whom he also designed typewriters).
