The author's popular fictionalised account of the early life of Charlie Chaplin, here renamed Tommy Timpson. [With:] A roughly equal weight of research material on Chaplin: printed, typed and photocopied [And:] A first edition copy of the book, published by Viking in 1981, very good in dustjacket and signed by the author.
