Internally, frontis, additional engraved title page with vignette, [5], (vi) only, [1], 8-186 pp, 10 pls. [Vol 2] [1], (iv) only, [1], 6-114, 127-146, 151-270 pp, 29 pls, followed by 63 additional plates (1 tinted, 1 with horizontal repaired tear and 2 with short repaired margin tears), lacks all between 115-126 (U2-Y4) & 147-150 (Cc1-Cc4), and lacks the final leaf p271/2-(Zz2), occasional light foxing, marbled endpapers, remains of removed bookplate to fpd. (216*166 mm). (ESTC T230293. Ballinger p121/2). 'in no two copies seen do the plates agree' our copy has 92 plates as did Ballinger's whilst the BM copy only has 62!
