Oxford edition, handsomely bound in an arts and craft style by Sangorski and Sutcliffe. Keynes 192. Octavo (188 x 125 mm). Photogravure portrait frontispiece by Emery Walker after Thomas Phillips, with tissue guard, 15 half-tone photographic plates reproducing title pages. Contemporary brown morocco by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, compartments and covers with gilt fillet and triple dot to corners, medieval-style "hinge" device extending from raised bands to covers with finial triple Aldine leaf tooling, French gilt fillet to turn-ins, grey coated endpapers, edges gilt, orange silk bookmarker. Spine mildly toned, a little light discolouration to leather, head of front joint starting, front inner hinge split but sound, contents clean. A very good copy.
