C.G. Iversens Forlag, København 1847. 186 sider. Samtidigt sort komponeret helshirtingsbind med dekorationer i guld og blindpræg samt forgyldt rygdekoration indeholdende titlen "C. Ploug. Digte" (C. Schmidt). * Tidlig Carl Ploug-bogudgivelse, udsendt under hans studentikose pseudonym Poul Rytter. Det tidlige eksempel på et komponeret hellærredsbind lader dog Ploug vedkende sig hele herligheden med rygtitlen. Bogen indeholder Plougs effektive mobiliserende lejlighedssange fra Studenterskandinavismens første hede dage samt hans lejlighedssange fra Regensen. For flere generationer var vers som "Længe var Nordens herlige Stamme spaltet i trende sygnende Skud" og "Lifligt fløite Vælsklands Nattergale" en vægtig del af den åndelige bagage.
