The Practical Rabbit Keeper (Paperback)

Paperback. This special re-print edition of Cuniculus's book "The Practical Rabbit Keeper" contains all the information a person needs to master the basics of raising rabbits. Written in 1891, topics include rabbit hutches, rabbitries and other methods of housing rabbits, the selection of breeding stock, rabbitry management, feeding rabbits, how to breed rabbits and much more. The sections on feeding rabbits are quite pertinent these days, as the methods described pre-date the use of commercial rabbit feeds and offer a unique insight into the use of forage and other natural feeds for rabbits. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface. As a result, some type characters and images might suffer from slight imperfections or minor shadows in the page background.
