Unplanned teenage pregnancy is one of the most challenging problems facing society today. To meet this challenge, a number of programmes designed to prevent unplanned pregnancies among adolescents have been launched. But which ones are the most successful?

These cover education, contraception and other approaches, and encompass a variety of school, medical and community settings.
