Large Independent Bookshop of great character, selling new and secondhand books, including children's books, musical scores and books in foreign languages. We have a cafe and are open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays. We close only on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and open at noon on New Year's Day. Books are supplied on a firm sale basis, payment with order, but may of course be returned for full refund if found to be not as described or otherwise unsatisfactory, but in such cases please contact us first. Shipping Terms

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized or requires extra insurance, we may contact you to request extra payment and may have to refuse the order if extra payment for shipping cannot be negotiated.
