Hole-punched leaves in cloth ring-binder, embossed cover titles and design, 4to, 31 cm, [6], 203 pp. With specimens of over 1500 founts. The first loose-leaf issue of Spottiswoode Ballantyne's type specimen book and much enlarged from the preceding editions. Ring-binder rubbed and with minor scrapes but sound, the presumed gilt of the cover and spine roundels now lost, title-leaf repaired for tears at punched holes (still torn at one, slightly affecting imprint text), 3 or 4 leaves mildly spotted or soiled, otherwise a Good clean copy of a very substantial type specimen book. Presentation label from the publishers to Imperial Airways Limited (which operated from 1924 to 1939) on front inside board. Seller Inventory # ABE-46463
