About this Item
CDV, 100mm x 62mm. Company advert to rear Foxing, especially to rear, but image itself is clean. I have found records of four images of Huxley by the London Steroscopic and Photographic Company from the 1860s, c.1870, c.1880 and c.1890. The earliest is the only image I have seen in which he has a full beard and he is almost totally unrecognisable. Seller Inventory # 1660
