An interesting melange of four scenes - Sunday on the Leas; In the Winter Gardens at the Pavilion Hotel; The Exhibition; Arrival of the Tidal Boat, plus several typical characters including among others His Worship the Mayor, an Army Officer in uniform and an Old Salt.
