"October, 1960" on masthead. Includes two early poems by David Bromige. Other contributors include Maxine Gadd, George Bowering and Raymond ("Ray") Hull. Designed by print maker / artist Chris Bergthorson, also known for the bookmarks he designed in the early 1960s for Duthie Books. 6-7/8" x 9-3/4", 56pp. Gathered signatures in printed card stock cover. Noticeable wear, staining, age toning to cover. The bottom fore corners are bent/creased. Binding is square and tight. Previous owner's name in ink on title / masthead page. Otherwise, pages are clean and bright and unmarked.

Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive.
