Edited by her great-grandson Bartle Grant with a portrait and decorations by Duncan Grant. Written 1756-1770 and never before printed. A UK limited edition - one 850 copies, this being copy number 524. Blue buckram with bevelled sides, spine lettered in gilt, edges uncut. Lacks printed dust-jacket. The book is square and very tight. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean. The corners are sharp. The spine is gently sunned. The pages are bright and clean - there is a touch of ghosting to the endpapers. The closed page edges are dulled. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. A handsome copy. Paypal accepted.
