This book, therefore, investigates the effect of the Reflective Teaching Approach on developing some classroom competences among in-service preparatory school teachers of English in Egypt. The group of the study consisted of 15 (male and female) teachers. The tools included a questionnaire, an observation checklist, three scales and the suggested programme (based on the Reflective Teaching Approach). Results showed that there are highly significant differences on the pre-post administration of the observation checklist favoring post-administration. This reflects the effectiveness of the suggested programme. Recommendations and suggestions are provided.
