Guide to the rose garden and its cultivation by the foremost nurseryman of the day operating from Sawbridgeworth, Herts. The two sections cover the Summer Rose Garden and the Autumnal Rose Garden with extensive details of cultivation, varieties and lists of kinds. In very good condition. The Rivers firm had been founded by John Rivers of Basildon, Herts in 1725, and went on to specialize particularly in roses and fruit.
