1953 when Hillary and Tenzing reached the summit of Everest the world went crazy, both men became national heroes. But at that time little was known about the humble Sherpa, in this book Tenzing tells the world about himself and the long hard road to the top. A very interesting book. 8vo. 320 pages blue cloth covered boards in good unclipped dust jacket. All illustrations correct. A certain of browning to the pages.
