STUNNING Oblong Folio bound in FINE full crimson straight grained morocco leather and titled in gilt to the front board. Superior original mounted and well captioned photographs celebrating the mountain retreat established at Vernet Le Bains in the French Pyrenees. Dated photographs range from 1903 to 1911 and feature notables including Rudyard Kipling, Lord and Lady Roberts and groups of visiting medicals as well as images of the facilities in the locality including the putting green and opportunities to ski. Original cello protective wrapper torn otherwise a Wonderful item in beautiful condition ! (Extra postage required for Overseas shipping.).
