Color pictorial paper wrappers with minor chipping to the head and tail of spine for what is otherwise a fine copy of the book. 349pp. plus approximately 40 pages of advertising with numerous images of balls, bats, gloves, masks, shoes and uniforms. Numerous black and white photos, including many of the World Champion Philadelphia Athletics and National League Champion New York Giants. Book includes the history of National and American Leagues, detailed information on team ownership, team rosters, individual player data, minor league info, photos of the brand new Polo Grounds and info on the ongoing construction of what would become Ebbets Field in Brooklyn and Fenway Park in Boston. This is an extremely nice copy of a very scarce item. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD +.
