Add to basketFitzgerald / 1926 / All the Sad Young Men (Safe 4, 104073) Octavo. Original publisher's dark bluish-green cloth (BAL's "B" cloth), blind-stamped on front cover and gilt-stamped on spine (lightly rubbed). Original light brown unclipped dust jacket, with illustration by Cleo Damianakes (signed "CLEON") on front (lips battered but not retouched; a few nicks and creases to jacket). Minor offsetting to pastedowns from flaps. Faint marginal toning and occasional minor printer's crease. [8], 267, [1, blank]. First edition Bruccoli has not identified any textual variations between the three printings of the first edition, but notes batter at 38.6-9, 248.21-24, and 90; none present here, suggesting it is an early printing. The lips of the woman on the dust jacket are battered, appearing as a tilted "A", suggesting it is not a "first state" jacket, although as pictured for Bruccoli's A.13.I.a. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1926.
