[Miscellaneous Writings] SEVENTH EDITION. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp. [4]; 494; [5]. Contemporary maroon half calf with green cloth over boards, gilt tooling to boards and spine, raised bands and gilt label to spine. Marbled endpapers, all edges speckled blue. Spotting to preliminaries and endpapers, some light and infrequent markings throughout, leather worn especially to lower board, sunning to spine, edges and spine extremities bumped, wearing to cloth. Very good. This is an interesting 'scrap book' of writings ranging from 'descriptive pieces in prose' which detail things like the boa constrictor and days out in cities to 'Humorous Pieces' and poetry.
