I can't say enough good things about Sharing the Transition to College Workbook. I would recommend it for any high school student and their family. I love the holistic approach to defining and preparing for success in college, with attention paid to emotional skill building plus executive function skills. I wish I'd had a resource like this when my own children were starting college!
- Diane Schwimm, Editor, CollegiateParent.com

From executive functioning to independent living, the authors have developed exercises, activities, and reflections for every student!
- Jason Hoffman, Director of College Guidance, Woodlynde School, PA
What a great tool for any student before going to college. We know that students with learning differences have more of a challenge to make that transition. This book provides the opportunity to think about those challenges early and practice ways to problem-solve.

From the Inside Flap
With the average student spending about 15 per week in the classroom, the majority of being at college takes place outside of academic buildings. We have intentionally designed activities that cover important skills areas for student life in every aspect of the college experience including practicing difficult conversations with a roommate, managing time and priorities, knowing when and how to ask for help, how to communicate with professional staff and much more!
Each skill area is practiced and introduced in multiple worksheets. The repetition is intentional to address the unique learning styles of students. Many activities require students to explore a college's website to research specific departments and offices. College is a big deal and we feel students should be active and engaged team members as they prepare for their next step - making the lives of students and parents easier - a win-win!
