Additional engr. title, 4pp. cata. E.ps affected by damp. Orig. brown horizontal-grained cloth, blocked in gilt; sl. marked, spine a little faded. Ownership inscriptions on leading f.e.p. Scarce. This edition unrecorded on Copac; Alston I, 503 lists the fifth edition of 1797, of which the BL holds a copy no earlier editions are recorded. The front board and additional engraved titlepage give the title as 'The Child's Own Grammar'. The engraved titlepage lists the published as Allan Bell and the date as 1837.
