pp 64 A pocket note book and diary for British soldiers at the time of the Great War bound in illustrated cloth with holder for a pencil, original price one shilling. The notebook includes much information considered useful to a soldier at the Front such as a map of northern France, The Soldier's Guide to French, aircraft spotting silhouettes including biplanes and zeppelins, first aid in case of accidents and some useful knots. The condition is fair, covers faded, binding tender with a couple of loose leaves, the diary section has been removed. No ownership inscription.
