All books are complete and in good condition unless otherwise described. The aim is to provide an adequate description of the books on offer. Minor traces of use, such as a pasted ex-libris or a owners name/stamp on the end- or titlepaper, very light traces of wear on the exterior, ... are not always mentioned in the description. Clear traces of use or major damage and/or (inerasable) underlining/notes in a book are always mentioned and described. To get a good impression of the condition of the book, at least one (but mostly more than one) picture of the actual book will be added in the description. The books are always carefully and properly packed (sturdy cardboard envelope or box) to prevent damage during shipment. Books are delivered against prepayment as standard. Prepayment is not required for libraries, institutions and fellow booksellers. The shipping costs as stated on Abebooks are based on parcels that weigh less than 2 kilos (book and packaging material) or less than 1 kilo for shipments to some distant countries like New-Zealand, Australia, Japan, .... If the parcel exceeds this weight, an increase in the shipping cost can be proposed. The buyer always has the chance to refuse the extra shipping costs. To be clear: the shipping costs are only charged at the actual cost price (as charged by the courier service). Orders are shipped within 2 business days of payment.
