250/300 COPIES (from an edition of 355 copies) on Velin d'Arches rag paper, 53 ornaments and illustrations by Peter Forster printed in grey, ff. [72], folio, original blue cloth. printed labels to backstrip and upper board, a few incredibly faint spots to cloth, tail edge untrimmed, dustjacket, near fine. The translator also set the type. Forster's illustrations use sculptural forms in a playful, and occasionally suggestive, way.
