xiii., 309pp., blue cloth, gilt lettering on cover and spine, slight markings on both covers, light spotting on outer page edges, gilt lettering on spine faded, ink inscription on f.f.e., very light spotting on first and last few pages, b&w images throughout, joint cracked on one or two pages within, however pages clean. A very interesting copy.

The Old Hall Bookshop was established in 1977 by John and Lady Juliet Townsend. The Old Hall is a very fine 18th century house in the centre of Brackley, a pleasant market town about 18 miles north of Oxford. The shop has a large stock of antiquarian, second-hand, new books and maps covering a wide range of interests and prices. We welcome visitors and trade customers. Parking is easy in the Market Square. Disabled access available. Opening hours: We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5:30pm excluding bank holidays US Customs may now review all UK origin shipments. We ship books under HS CODE 4901.99.00 which remain duty free, though some US states may apply sales tax or handling charges.…
