Spine and board edges sunned and boards and endpapers slightly water stained. Some scattered foxing, largely confined to edges and preliminaries; otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by portrait frontispiece. A narrative of ten years of travel around the world, including Scandinavia, Sardinia and Corsica, Greece, Persia, India and Kashmir, and Canada. First published in 1889, this expanded second edition includes the author's travels in South Africa. Heywood Walter Seton-Karr., F.R.G.S. Founded by Patrick Marrin's father George in 1946, Marrin's Bookshop has been based in its current Folkestone location since 1963. Patrick has worked in bookselling since 1970. As well as rare antiquarian books, maps and prints, the stock includes a wide range of literature, library sets, travel, history and illustrated books in all fields. We also offer a bookbinding and restoration service. Visitors to the shop are welcome and we exhibit at UK book fairs.
