Theseus translated from the French , was the most recent of GIDE's work , but one long projected . The present translation has been made from the text which was published in 1947.8vo.Pp,[8], 56. Original beige cloth covered boards with title in gold lettering on spine. Front free end paper has original owners signature and date. Dust wrapper is unclipped title on front with drawing taken from a vase in the British Museum, browning on spine and rest of wrapper is slightly discoloured but generally good.
