[Children's Illustrated] Sextodecimo (14 x 11cm), pp.76. Illustrated with eighteen coloured plates and numerous black and white illustrations in text. Publisher's red paper-covered boards, illustration laid-down to upper, illustrated endpapers. Contents mostly clean, no inscriptions. Light general wear to boards, spine lettering flecked off as often found. Originally published in 1908 as The Roly-Poly Pudding, in Warne's larger format (similar to Ginger & Pickles), the book was reissued in 1926 as part of the regular/uniform series of Beatrix Potter books, under the new title 'The Tale of Samuel Whiskers'.
