About the Author
Douglas Edge began his school teaching career in Montreal, Canada but has taught in Nigeria, Vancouver and London. Dr. Edge obtained a doctorate degree in mathematics education at the University of Maryland. Dr. Edge is the co-author of a respected textbook series, "Math Works!" for upper primary students in Singapore.
Yeap Ban Har holds a Master of Education and a Master of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies, and obtained a doctorate degree in mathematics education at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Dr. Yeap has written several textbooks based on the Singapore Mathematics approach, as well as articles and chapters in various mathematics education publications.
