FAIR / NO DUST JACKET. 1045 pp + 16 pp ads. Text with underlining and notations in the margins. Pages edges slightly toned. Illustrated with 468 text illustrations, many in color, and 15 colored plates. Blue cloth boards lettered in gilt at spine, lightly soiled, edges rubbed, corners worn to boards, spine top and tail starting to fray. Binding slightly shaken due to size of textblock, but joints and hinges good, binding overall stable.

The Friends & Foundation's primary goals are to raise private and public funds to help ensure the library's financial security, to enable the highest level of library service to the community in the 21st Century, and to help build broad public support for the library¿s programs. Contributions augment public support and are used to expand library collections, programs and services; to support capital improvements of library facilities; and to support professional resources, services and staff.
