London, John Williams, 1847. 4to. Uncut in contemp. full blindtamped cloth, gilt lettering to spine. Tear to lower part of first hinge. A paperlabel psted on top of spine. Stamps on foot og title-page. XV,247 pp. and 69 double-page engraved plates. Some brownspots to the first few leaves, otherwise clean and fine. A few scattered brownspots to plates. This volume contains the first English translation of August Perdonnet and Polonceau: "Portefeuielle de Ingenieur des Chemins de Fer".
