A collection of poetry by English authors, selected by Charles Mackay. Including an engraved frontispiece. With works from Chaucer, Milton, Hood, and many others. Bound by Bickers and Son (binder's ink stamp to front free-endpaper). In a decorative red morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally, smart, with just some slight rubbing, and front joint is starting slightly. Internally, firmly bound, although title page is missing. Ink inscription to to front free-endpaper, along with previous owner's blindstamp. Pages are bright and generally clean, with just a few instances of foxing. Very Good. Seller Inventory # LTH22-B-9
