FIRST EDITION, 2 maps, one as frontispiece, pp. [vii], 406, 8vo, original black cloth, backstrip lettered in gilt, little dink to tali edge of upper board, top edge orange, faint partial browning to inner margin of free endpapers, dustjacket darkened to backstrip panel and borders, a little rubbing at extremities, very good. The first two authors served with the British Expeditionary Force, whereas Partridge - also the publisher - was with the Australian Infantry. (Arnold A46B).
