One page, 8vo, good condition. "Repeated disappointment has for 3 weeks past attended the several journies [sic] from this country house to our Post Town some 4 miles off.- I hoped [?] I was promised truly, sheets shd be sent out of London on Wednesdays & Saturdays, nothing since ye fifth sheet has reached me! - altho' even yt teaches me that it is needful for me to receive specimen sheets; for a Table of errors to be formed for ye end of ye work; seeing that on ye last sheet arrived hither, Mat.19.4. Creater ([e" underlined] instead of Creator ["or" double underlining]. And in perusing the sheets delibersatley, as they come hither in succession, additional notes & remarks occur necessary for the mass od Readers,tho not for adepts in Greek - You may also will [sic] conceive yt I am anxious to know how yr work goes on. | Do you publish a Catalogue? I should like to have one - Parcels sent to me by Carrier to Carmarthen & Pembroke, come safe [address given]".Note: Catalogue entry, National Library of Wales, for the published work says " A modern, correct, and close, translation of the New Testament : with occasional observations. / by the author of the "Christian code" and "Primitive history" [i.e. William Williams of Chichester?]." The COPAC entry for "Christian Code" says the book is by "an old graduate of Cambridge2.
