Original lithograph with colour, printed in Germany, c.1930. 940 x 630 mm. The Bohemian Forest, known in Czech as Åumava and in German as BÃ hmerwald, is a low mountain range in Central Europe. Geographically, the mountains extend from PlzeÅ Region and South Bohemia in the Czech Republic to Austria and Bavaria in Germany, and form the highest truncated uplands of the Bohemian Massif, up to 50 km wide.
